LEXINGTON — McCracken County moved on to the KHSAA Girls’ Sweet Sixteen State Tournament by knocking off Bowling Green, 47-41, on Friday.
The Lady Mustangs will now face-off against Butler Saturday morning in the Final Four.
McCracken County led 11-8 after the first quarter and 20-12 at halftime before holding off Bowling Green in the second half.
Claire Johnson led the Lady Mustangs with 16 points while Mikee Buchanan added 15 points and eight rebounds.
Natajia Alexander led Bowling Green with 13 points.
