RICHMOND — The Corbin Lady Redhounds fell to 1-2 on the season after dropping a 7-3 decision to Madison Southern on Saturday.
Corbin took a 2-0 lead entering the bottom of the second inning before seeing the Lady Eagles reel off five runs.
Crystal Stidham’s squad added a run in the top of the fourth inning before Madison Southern put the game out of reach with a run in the bottom of the fourth and another run in the bottom of the sixth.
Raegan Hinkle was 2-for-3 with two runs scored for Corbin while Danni Foley had two hits and a run scored. Abbi Beller had two hits and an RBI while Anela Sanders finished with a hit and Kallie Housley drove in a run.
