MCKEE — Jackson County’s Candice Williams tossed a perfect game while striking out 13 batters during the Lady Generals’ 7-0 win over Barbourville.
Jackson County (4-2) scored two runs in the first inning while adding two more runs in the third inning before putting the game out of reach with a three-run fifth inning.
The Lady Generals finished with 11 hits and took advantage of four errors by Barbourville.
Blakelynn Fee finished 3-for-3 at the plate with two RBI and three runs scored while Bayle Berry went 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run scored. Williams added two hits while Kylie Moore finished with a hit, two RBI and one run scored. Josie Starcher had a hit and an RBI while Aubrey Estridge finished with a hit and two runs scored. Ella Sallee also had a hit in the win.
