MCKEE — Candice Williams continued her dominating efforts in the pitcher’s circle.
She limited visiting Knox Central to only one hit while striking out 17 batters during Jackson County’s (6-2) 6-0 win on Thursday.
The Lady Generals scored three runs in the first inning while adding three more in the bottom of the fourth and never looked back.
Blakelynn Fee finished 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored. Kylie Moore delivered a double and drove in three runs and scored once while Lexi Brockman had two hits and an RBI. Ella Sallee also had two hits and drove in a run.
Jackson County has now won five games in a row while the Lady Panthers fall to 1-3.
