Clay County runs record to 4-0 with win over Knott Central 

Clay County ran its record to a perfect 4-0 thanks to a 16-7 win over Knott Central.

The Tigers have now scored in double digits in three of their first four games. 

Hayden Crockett came up huge at the plate, going g 4-for-4 with four RBI and two runs scored while Brandin Crawford came up big again, hitting another home run while collecting two hits, three RBI and two runs scored.

Talan Marcum finished with three hits while driving in two runs and scoring twice. Ethan Jackson had an RBI, two hits and two runs scored while Tate Rice finished with a hit and two RBI. Aiden Wagers also had a hit and an RBI.

Clay County built leads of 5-0 and 9-4 before putting the game out of reach with a five run seventh inning. 

Crawford picked up the win, tossing three innings while allowing two hits, two earned runs, and finishing with eight strikeouts.
