LONDON — North Laurel never had the lead against Letcher Central on Saturday, and eventually dropped a 7-2 decision against the Lady Cougars.
The game was tied at one apiece after an inning of play before Letcher Central scored two runs in the fifth inning, three runs in the sixth inning and a run in the seventh inning.
The Lady Jaguars (2-2) were outhit, 15-5, in the game while North Laurel committed an error.
Emma Carl finished with a home run, an RBI and a run scored while Saige McClure collected a hit and drove in a run.
