McClure drives in four runs to lead North Laurel past Casey County 

LONDON — North Laurel spotted Casey County a 3-0 lead in the first inning before using a six-run second inning and a seven-run seventh inning to knock off the Lady Rebels, 14-4, on Saturday.

Chris Edward’s squad outhit Casey County, 9-7, while taking advantage of six Lady Rebel errors.

Saige McClure came up with two hits and four RBI while scoring once. Ellie Adams had a hit, three RBI and a run scored while Katie Keen finished 2-for-4 with two RBI and three runs scored. Emma Carl delivered a hit, an RBI and a run scored while Reeselyn Garland had two hits and scored twice. 

Carl picked up the win in the pitcher’s circle, tossing four innings while surrendering six hits, and four earned runs. She struck out three batters. Tessa Monhollen pitched a scoreless inning of one hit ball.
