Lady Wildcats come from behind to hand Hart County 9-8 loss

WILLIAMSBURG — Lynn Camp rallied from a 6-5 deficit in the fourth inning to outlast Hart County and pull off a 9-8 win.

The Lady Wildcats (6-1) collected 20 hits, but committed five errors, keeping Hart County in the game.

Allie Messer delivered four hits, and three RbI while scoring once. She also came in relief of Jorja Carnes and pitched the final four innings, allowing four hits and two earned runs while striking out two batters.

Charity Steele had three hits and two RBI in the win while Lauren Partin had three hits and scored three times. Lily Henzie finished with three hits, one RBI, and one run scored. Carnes and Cambree Prewitt finished with two hits apiece while Chelsea Hendrickson and Emma Burnette scored a run and delivered a hit apiece.
