WILLIAMSBURG — Ryle jumped out to a 5-0 lead and never looked back during its 11-4 win over Whitley County.
The Colonels managed to cut their deficit to 5-3 in the third inning but a four-run fifth inning wrapped up the win for the Raiders.
Hunter Wilson led Whitley County with two hits, and RBI and a run scored while Bryce Anderson had a hit, two RBI, and one run scored. Matthew Wright had a hit and a run scored while EJ Allen finished with a hit. Tyler Rose had a hit and an RBI while Shane Parker scored once.
