CORBIN — Cody Philpot’s Corbin Redhounds wrapped up the Eli Hill Invitational on Saturday with a convincing 12-2 win over Estill County.
The Redhounds (3-2) broke open a two-all tie in the fourth inning by scoring four runs while pushing four more runs across home plate in the fifth inning to secure the win.
Mikey Neal delivered three hits (two doubles) while driving in a run. Noah Cima had two hits, three RBI and scored three times while Lucas Tarvin and Clayton Botner had a hit and an RBI apiece. Kade Elam added two hits while Bradric Helton collected a hit.
Hunter Todd got the win on the mound with three strikeouts.
