Corbin will be back in action in Tuesday’s semifinal play at 6 p.m. against Bell County.

“My ladies are starting to find rhythm, getting healthy, and playing like I know we are capable,” Corbin coach Crystal Stidham said. “Tonight, Danni lit it up in the circle, pitching five innings, striking out nine, and only allowed one hit, the others her defense was on point behind her making the plays, error free, just playing great defense.  Our bats were rolling as well. We collected 11 hits in five innings of work.

“In the top of the second, Raegan Hinkle doubled scoring a run and was followed by Alana Stidham, who hit one to the top of the fence and bounced back in, but was able to score two runs and she was followed by Morgan Hicks, who racked in 2 more runs off a double. Morgan Hicks, Abi Beller, Raegan Walker, and Raegan Hinkle each racked up two hits a piece, while Alana Stidham, Danni Foley, Morgan Hicks, and Raegan Hinkle had 2 RBI each. Abi Beller also picked up an RBI on the win.  “Alana Stidham was able to score on a passed ball to get us to 10 and our defense held on for the 10-0 win,” Stidham added. “Super-proud of my girls, we are gelling more and finding our team’s rhythm. Now on to round two, and keeping this same momentum going into our next game. Let’s Go Lady Redhounds.”
