BARBOURVILLE — Barbourville’s Ty Clark tossed a no-hitter as the Tigers only needed three innings to defeat Lynn Camp, 15-0, during first round action of the 13th Region All ‘A’ Classic Tournament.
Clark was unhittable Monday, finishing with seven strikeouts.
Barbourville scored six runs in the first inning while adding eight runs in the second inning before putting the game out of reach with a run in the third inning.
Nathan Miller led the Tigers (3-2) with two hits, four RBI, and one run scored. Colby Peters was a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, and two runs scored. Jaxon Collins had two hits, one RBI, and three runs scored while Clark finished with two hits, two RBI, and two runs scored. Connor West collected a hit, and an RBI, scoring once. Noah Gray finished with two hits, two RBI, and one run scored while Luke Hillard had a hit and scored once. Sam Buchanan had a hit while Caden Miracle scored once.
Braxton Creekmore was Lynn Camp’s lone base runner, he finished with a walk.
