South Laurel coach Shelley Nunley received her first win as the Lady Cardinal head coach on Thursday.
The Lady Cardinals (2-3) cruised to an easy, 3-0, 50th District win over Williamsburg.
South Laurel snapped a three-game losing skid by delivering the Lady Yellow Jackets a 25-12, 25-12, and 25-17 win.
The Lady Cardinals will be back in action Tuesday against Jackson County.
