PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. — Lynn Camp suffered its fourth loss in a row during its stay in the Cal Ripken Experience event after dropping an 8-0 decision to Greenup County.
The Lady Wildcats (7-5) never got on track against a Lady Musketeer squad that outhit Lynn Camp, 11-1.
Greenup County led 2-0 at the end of the fourth inning before putting the game out of reach with three runs in the fifth inning while adding three more runs in the sixth inning.
Lily Henize had the Lady Wildcats’ lone hit while Allison Messer took the loss in the pitcher’s circle, lasting six innings while surrendering 11 hits and six earned runs. She struck out seven batters.
