Lady Redhounds drop 5-4 heartbreaker, losing skid hits four games

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — Corbin’s losing skid is now at four games after suffering a heartbreaking 5-4 loss to Louisville Eastern on Wednesday.

Eastern responded with a run in each of the final three innings to pull out the one-run victory.

Corbin turned out to be its own worst enemy in the loss, committing six errors that led to three unearned runs.

Danni Foley took the loss despite turning in a stellar effort in the pitcher’s circle. She allowed seven hits and only two earned runs while striking out seven batters.

Kallie Housley turned in a 2-for-4 effort at the plate with a triple and a double, one RBI, and two runs scored. Bailey Stewart drove in  run while Foley went 1-for-2 with two RBI.
