Corbin drops fifth in a row, falls to Paducah Tilghman, 14-4

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — The Corbin Lady Redhounds’ losing skid has hit five games after a 14-4 setback to Paducah Tilghman on Thursday.

Corbin held a slim 3-2 lead entering the bottom of the second inning before the Blue Tornado scored two runs to take a 4-3 edge.

Paducah Tilghman took over after that, outscoring the Lady Redhounds, 10-1, the remainder of the game.

The loss dropped Corbin to 4-8, and 0-4 during its spring break trip to participate in the Florida Softball Beach Bash.

The Lady Redhounds were their own worst enemy in the loss, committing five errors that led to nine unearned runs.

Kallie Housley pitched 3 2/3 of an inning, giving up five hits and four earned runs while striking out a batter. Abi Beller pitched the final inning, allowing three hits and one earned run while striking out a batter.

Housley led Corbin with two hits and three RBI while Reagan Hinkle went 2-for-2 with one run scored. Bailey Stewart finished with a hit and an RBI while Raegan Walker had a hit and scored once. Anela Sanders also had a hit.
