Colonels finish road trip with 12-2 win over Glasgow

BOWLING GREEN — Whitley County pitcher Bradyn Bargo tossed four innings of scoreless ball while scattering three hits during the Colonels’ 12-2 win over Glasgow on Friday. 

Jeremy Shope’s squad used three pitchers in the 10-run victory, as Kip Allen and Tyler Rose didn’t allow an earned run as well.

Whitley County fell behind 2-0 in the top of the first inning before responding with four runs in the bottom of the first and six more runs in the bottom of the third inning.

Ronald Osborne led the way at the plate with two hits and three runs scored while Chris Cureton and Jerrod Croley finished with a hit, an RBI, and a run scored apiece. Jason Nunley collected a hit and drove in two runs while Shane Parker and EJ Allen finished with a hit and a run scored apiece. Hunter Wilson finished with a hit while Matthew Wright drove in a run and scored three times. Bryce Anderson also scored in the win.
