BARBOURVILLE — Barbourville Tigers secured a resounding 10-0 victory over Owsley County on Monday, propelled by a dynamic performance, particularly in the third inning, where they scored seven runs. Luke Hillard’s powerful homer to left field drove in two runs, while Colby Peters’ double and Nate Miller’s single each added to the tally with one and two runs respectively. Bradyn Sowders’ groundout and Ty Clark’s walk also contributed, each bringing in one run.

The Tigers initiated their scoring spree in the first inning when Conor West’s double brought in one run, followed by Peters’ walk, adding another to the board.

Miller, the pitcher for Barbourville, clinched the win, exhibiting a stellar performance by conceding only one hit and no runs over five innings. He also struck out eight batters and walked two.
