LONDON — A grand slam by Eli Holt in the third inning highlighted North Laurel’s 6-4 comeback win over Perry Central on Tuesday.
The Jaguars also received a stellar pitching effort from Dylan Hurley, who pitched six innings, scattering four hits while giving up two earned runs. Hurley struck out five batters.
“Another good win tonight,” North Laurel coach Darren McWhorter said. “Dylan Hurley pitched well tonight, throwing six innings, and Cam Hinkle got the save.
“We played another solid game defensively and had some timely hits with runners in scoring position,” he added. “None bigger than Eli Holt’s grand slam.”
