Corbin’s 11-game win streak comes to an end with loss to West Jessamine

The Redhounds’ 11-game win streak came to an end on Saturday thanks to a 9-4 loss to West Jessamine.

Corbin trailed 5-4 after three innings of play before seeing the Colts score four unanswered runs in the final two innings to secure their five-run win.

The Redhounds were limited to three hits with Mikey Neal connecting with two doubles while driving in three runs. Kade Elam had Corbin’s other hit.

Lucas Tarvin took the loss, allowing eight hits and five earned runs in 5 1/3 innings of work. He struck out five batters. Cam Estep pitched the final 1 2/3 of an inning, giving up two hits and three earned runs. Estep struck out two batters.
