The Lady Colonels held a 2-0 lead until the bottom of the third inning when host Wayne County scored six runs to secure a 6-4 win over Whitley County on Sunday.
Jayden Barton led the way with two hits and one RBI while Morgan Huddleston finished with a hit and an RBI. Amber Brown and Hallie Huddleston finished with a hit and two runs scored apiece.
Kara Canada took the loss, tossing 2 1/3 of an inning while allowing four hits and three earned runs. She struck out a batter. Caylee Singleton pitched the final 1 2/3 of an inning, giving up a hit. She struck out one batter.
