GOING, GOING, GONE: Corbin’s Mikey Neal delivers two home runs during Redhounds’ 12-2 win over Prestonsburg

Senior Mikey Neal connected with two home runs and drove three runs in to lead Corbin past Prestonsburg, 12-2.

Neal now has five home runs on the season while teammate Walker Landrum connected with a home run, finishing with two hits while driving in three runs to help the Redhounds improve to 13-3. Kade Elam turned in a 3-for-4 effort while driving in a run and scoring three times. Ethan Abner finished with two hits and an RBI while Lucas Tarvin, Trey Person, and Cam Estep finished with an RBI and a hit apiece.

Jeremiah Gilbert picked up the win, tossing three innings while allowing a hit and one earned run. Gilbert also struck out seven batters. J. Gentry pitched the final three innings, allowing four hits and no runs. He finished with one strikeout.
