Reed Sheppard Announces Decision to Enter NBA Draft

LONDON — Reed Sheppard, former North Laurel High School and University of Kentucky star, announced today via a video on his X account that he will be entering his name into the NBA Draft. 
Sheppard expressed his gratitude to the BBN for their unwavering support throughout his journey and shared his excitement for the next chapter.
“I believe it’s time to pursue that dream therefore I will be entering my name into the NBA Draft today. BBN you’ve been with me from Day One, faithful and passionate, I’m asking you to go with me on this journey. I’m looking forward to taking you with me.” 
With projections placing Sheppard as a lottery pick in the upcoming draft, various mock drafts from USA TODAY, ESPN, Bleacher Report, The Ringer, and NBAdraft.net have all predicted him to be selected within the first 10 picks. His highest projected draft slot is at No. 4, highlighting the high expectations for his future in the NBA.
Sheppard’s impressive achievements include guiding North Laurel to two 13th Region championships and becoming the career leading scorer at North Laurel as well as in 13th Region history with an outstanding 3,727 points. His success continued at the University of Kentucky, where he was recognized as the National Freshman of the Year and SEC Freshman of the Year.
