MANCHESTER — Crystal Stidham’s Corbin Lady Redhounds were firing on all cylinders during Thursday’s 13th Region matchup with Clay County.
The Lady Redhounds scored in all five innings during their 15-0 shutout over the Lady Tigers.
Pitcher Danni Foley limited Clay County to only two hits in the win while notching a complete game, and finishing with eight strikeouts.
Morgan Hicks and Kallie Housley had a home run apiece while Foley was perfect at the plate, going 3-for-3 with three RBI. Hicks was 2-for-3 with two RBI, and two runs scored while Housley turned in a 2-for-2 effort with an RBI while scoring four times. Raegan Walker had a hit, two RBI and one run scored while Kennedie Guiher finished with two hits, an RBI, and two runs scored. Raegan had a hit and scored once while Alana Stidham drove in a run. Bailey Stewart drove in a run and scored once.
Corbin took a 3-0 lead in the first inning before adding two more runs in the second inning to push its lead to 5-0. The Lady Redhounds added five runs in the third inning while scoring a run in the fourth inning before putting the game away with four runs in the fifth inning.
