Game One
Leslie County 4, Lynn Camp 2
The Lady Wildcats fell behind four runs and never recovered, dropping a 4-2 decision to Leslie County.
The Lady Eagles scored two runs in the second and third innings to take a 4-0 lead. Lynn Camp responded with two runs in the fourth inning but couldn’t get any closer.
Lauren Partin led the Lady Wildcats with a 3-for-3 effort while scoring once. Lily Henize was 2-for-3 with a run scored. Cambree Prewitt finished with a hit and an RBI while Jorja Carnes had a hit. Charity Steele drove in a run in the loss.
Carnes took the loss, tossing four innings while allowing six hits and two earned runs. She finished with nine strikeouts.
Game Two
Lynn Camp 4, Leslie County 3
The Lady Wildcats managed to get payback in the second game of the doubleheader with Leslie County on Saturday.
The roles reversed with Lynn Camp taking a 4-0 lead before seeing the Lady Eagles attempt to rally.
Cambree Prewitt was one of seven Lady Wildcat players that had at least one hit. She also drove in two runs. Chelsea Hendrickson, and Lauren Partin also provided run-scoring hits in the win.
Allison Wilson got the win, throwing five innings while allowing seven hits and two earned runs. Wilson finished with five Ks.
