Pulaski County captured first place honors in Saturday’s North Laurel Invitational girls’ varsity meet with 45 points while North Laurel finished second with 48 points.
Harlan County finished third, totaling 108 points while 13th Region schools Lynn Camp (5th, 129 points), Corbin (6th, 139 points), Bell County (7th, 141 points), and Williamsburg (8th, 182 points) also turned in stellar efforts.
Pulaski County’s Alex Cundiff won first place honors in the event with a time of 19:58.91 while North Laurel’s Taylor Allen finished second (20:25.50).
Harlan County’s Peyton Lunsford (20:42.78) finished third while Lynn Camp’s Abby Mabe (7th, 21:42.53), Riley Vickers (8th, 21:59.31) and Sienna Sizemore (10th, 22:17.28), and Corbin’s Mary Hope Jackson (9th, 22:10.12) each placed in the top 10.
