Redhounds fight back from 6-3 deficit to win 9-6 over Madison Southern

CORBIN — Corbin stared at a 6-3 deficit heading into  the bottom of the sixth inning before rallying to score six runs to pick up an impressive 9-6 win over Madison Central.

The Redhounds (17-6) led 3-1 after two innings of play before the Eagles scored five unanswered runs to take a 6-3 edge.

Corbin only had four hits in the win, taking advantage of five errors by Madison Southern that led to two unearned runs.

Noah Cima, Walker Landrum, Mikey Neal, and Lucas Tarvin had run-scoring hits in the win while Kade Elam picked up the victory in the mound.

Elam tossed 1 2/3 of an inning while allowing only one hit. He struck out a batter.
