Bell County’s Caden Miracle captures first place honors in North Laurel Invitational; Corbin takes home team first place honors

Bell County senior Caden Miracle took home first place honors during Saturday’s North Laurel Invitational with a time of 15:44.28 while Corbin continues its dominance by taking first place team honors with 51 points.

Bell County was a close second with 58 points while 13th Region schools North Laurel (3rd, 94 points), Harlan County (4th, 130 points), South Laurel (5th, 128 points), Whitley County (6th, 138 points), and Williamsburg (8th, 169 points) rounded out the top 10.

Joining Bell County’s Miracle in the top 10 were South Laurel’s Will Stanko (2nd, 18:14.53), Corbin’s John Hail (3rd, 17:29.44), Bell County’s Nicholas Stewart (4th, 17:59.51), South Laurel’s Jacob Tapscott (5th, 18:06.47), Harlan County’s Andrew Yeary (6th, 18:10.12), Corbin’s Kaleb Terrell (7th, 18:11.02), Corbin’s Nolan Brock (9th, 19:27.03), and North Laurel’s Josh Hoskins (10th, 18:32,97).

Whitley County’s Joshua Grubb (18:38.85), and Connor Partin (18:38.85) just missed out on finishing in the top 10 with both runners finishing in 11th place. Alex Coleman was Williamsburg’s top runner. He placed 24th overall with a time of 19:33.22.
