CORBIN — The Lynn Camp Lady Wildcats split a pair of games at home with Model on Monday, winning the first game 4-3 before falling in the second game, 9-5.
Game One
Lynn Camp 4, Model 3
The Lady Wildcats fell behind 3-2 in the first inning before scoring three unanswered runs to pick up a slim 4-3 victory.
Chelsea Hendrickson led the way with two hits and two RBI while Julie Moore finished with two hits, an RBI and a run scored. Allison Messer connected with a run-scoring hit while Lauren Partin finished with a hit and scored once.
Jorja Carnes struck out nine batters in five innings of work, allowing three hits and two earned runs.
Game Two
Model 9, Lynn Camp 5
A five-run five inning by Model combined with a four-run fifth inning led to Lynn Camp’s 9-5 loss.
Partin went 3-for/3 with three runs scored while Messer delivered two hits and three RBI. Lily Henize also added a run-scoring hit.
