1. South Laurel (6-1 overall)
The Lady Cardinals continue to roll even after suffering their first loss over two weeks ago.
South Laurel has responded by handing Berea a 6-0 loss while knocking off Russell County on the road, 11-1.
Belle Dotson leads the Lady Cardinals with 14 goals and nine assists while Josie Gill follows with 12 goals and seven assists. Ella Rison has eight goals and seven assists while Gracie Hoskins has rallied five goals and four assists.
Keeper Tess Little has been impressive, allowing only four goals in seven games while totaling five shutouts.
2. Corbin (7-3)
The Lady Redhounds are the hottest team in the region. After starting the season with a 1-3 mark, Corbin is 6-0 since.
The Lady Redhounds had a big week last week, knocking off Russell (3-2), Estill County (8-2), and Whitley County (10-0).
Grace Gibson has turned things up a notch, leading the region with 24 goals while also garnering 10 assists. Olivia Jones has 18 goals and 14 assists while Kaiden Walden and Mary Simons each have two goals apiece.
3. North Laurel (2-2)
The Lady Jaguars dropped a spot after falling to both Lincoln County, and George Rogers Clark by a combined score of 10-0.
North Laurel is looking to get back on track this week with a road matchup against Corbin.
Makayla Mastin leads the Lady Jaguars with nine goals while Mikela Moore has two goals.
4. Whitley County (3-4)
The Lady Colonels got off to a quick start but have lost two in a row which included a 10-0 setback to district opponent Corbin.
Whitley County will look to get back on track against Harlan County on Tuesday before participating in the Smoky Mountain Cup during the weekend.
Autumn Sawyers continues to lead the Lady Colonels with 16 goals and three assists while Deserae Haynes has five goals and seven assists.
5. Middlesboro (4-3)
The Lady Yellow Jackets continue to put together a nice season. They defeated Bell County, 6-0, last week but followed with a 6-1 loss to Claiborne, Tenn.
Kamryn Keith leads Middlesboro with 10 goals and three assists while Ella Harris follows with three goals.
