LONDON — North Laurel entered the week red-hot, but they’ve cooled down quickly.

Darren McWhorter’s held a 3-1 lead entering the third inning before swing the Lions score eight unanswered runs to pick up the six-run victory.
J. Douglas Gilliam took the loss, lasting six innings while allowing five hits and four earned runs. He finished with four Ks. Tanner Houchens pitched an inning, giving up two hits and three earned runs while striking out two batters.
Carter Kelley led North Laurel with two hits, an RBI and one run scored. Cooper Elza had a hit and scored once while Gilliam finished with a hit and Jude McWhorter scored once.
