Lady Jaguars suffer 13-1 setback to Perry Central

LONDON — North Laurel suffered its worse loss of the season on Thursday, dropping a 13-1 decision to 14th Region’s Perry Central.

The Lady Commodores scored five runs in the first inning to take control of the game and added a six-run fifth inning to seal the win.

The loss snapped North Laurel’s three-game win streak while dropping the Lady Jaguars to 22-9 in the process.

Emma Carl took the loss, surrendering seven hits and three earned runs in four innings of work while Tessa Monhollen tossed one inning, allowing three hits and four earned runs.

Ellie Adams led North Laurel with a hit and an RBI while Bella Sizemore, Braylee Fawbush and Monhollen finished with a hit apiece.
