HARLAN — After dropping two games to Bell County earlier in the season, the Harlan Green Dragons were looking for some revenge in Tuesday’s 52nd District title game, and they’re got just that.
Harlan captured the 52nd District crown by jumping out to a 7-0 lead while holding on to win, 7-5.
Luke Luttrell picked up the win, pitching seven innings while allowing four hits and two earned runs. He also struck out three batters.
The Green Dragons took advantage of seven errors by the Bobcats as Brody Owens finished a with a hit, two RBI, and one run scored. Chris Rouse and Aiden Johnson scored two runs apiece while Baylor Varner drove in a run and scored once. Eli Freyer also had a hit in the win.
