CORBIN — Knox Central’s Casey Bright continues to show he’s not only one of the top players in the 13th Region, but also the state, after silencing Barbourville’s bats in the 51st District title game.
Bright was almost unhittable during the Panthers’ 10-0 win, limiting Barbourville to only one hit while striking out 11 batters.
Beight also done damage at the plate, with a hit and three RBI. Austin Bargo finished with two hits, three RBI and one run scored while Hayden Melton was 2-for-2 with one RBI and three runs scored. Brad Engle finished with a hit and three runs scored while Cayden Collins had a hit, and an RBI. Waylon Frazier finished with a hit, an RBI and one run scored.
