LEXINGTON — Chris Jones’ Corbin Lady Redhounds are one win away from capturing the KHSAA Girls’ Team Tennis State Tournament championship after outlasting McCracken County with a 3-2 victory in semifinal action on Tuesday.
Corbin will face-off against Sacred Heart in the title game at 1:45 p.m. today.
We did it,” Jones said. “A 3-2 win over McCracken County. We’re in the championship. Let’s go!”
The Lady Redhounds won all three singles points with Bella Lopez, Lindsay Jones and Katie Morton.
