Corbin’s duo of Grace Gibson and Olivia Jones turned out to be too much to handle for the North Laurel Lady Jaguars.
Gibson recorded a hat-trick during the win while Jones added two goals, allowing the Lady Redhounds (8-3 overall, 2-0 against 49th District opponents) to record a 6-0 victory while capturing their seventh win in a row during the process.
Corbin took command early against North Laurel, scoring four goals in the first 32 minutes to take a 4-0 lead into the break at halftime.
Jones scored a goal four minutes into the contest, allowing Gibson to take over the remainder of the first half.
Gibson scored goals during the seventh, 26th, and 32nd minutes to pad a four-goal lead.
Jones scored her second goal of the game during the 53rd minute while Caroline Steely added a goal during the 64th minute to give the Lady Redhounds a 6-0 cushion.
Corbin will be back in action Monday on the road against Oneida, Tenn. while North Laurel (2-3, 0-1) will host Madison Southern on Monday.
