BARBOURVILLE — Michael Branham’s Whitley County Colonels are rolling, improving to 2-0 on Thursday with a 7-0 win over Barbourville.
Jacob Senters continued his impressive play, scoring three goals while JaVon Rider had a goal and an assist while also recording four save at the keeper position.
D’Shawn Henderson finished with a goal and an assist while Brody Moses had a goal and two assists. Tucker Hale had a goal while Levi Huddleston and Bryson Mahan had an assist apiece. Landen Rose finished with five saves at the keeper position in the second half.
“We came out sluggish and it took us a while to put the ball in the back of the net,” Branham said. “We missed a lot of opportunities in the first half but managed a 2-0 lead at half. We upped the intensity and pressure in the second half and added five more goals.”
