CORBIN — When it rains, it pours.
Nothing much went right during Corbin’s season-opening loss to Somerset on Thursday.
The Redhounds fell behind 5-0 after a half of play before surrendering three more goals, the Briar Jumpers wrapped up an 8-0 win in 72 minutes.
With seven starters returning this season, coach Roger Taylor said before the beginning of the season his team will be right in the mix of things come October.
“We all still have a lot to learn,” he said. “Barring any major hiccups, I see this team challenging for another region title, especially if we keep improving at the current rate.”
