SOMERSET — The Corbin Lady Redhounds didn’t get a win on Thursday, but they held their own before falling, 4-3, to Somerset.
Emely Colchado, Revi Sell, and Brylei McKee scored in the loss while Katie Morton had an assist.
“We played much better offensively than we did in our first few games,” Corbin coach Hannah Goins said. “Despite the loss, we played a great game. They had a couple really pretty goals early, but fought our way back. I think we came out a little timid but once we realized we could play with them we started picking it up.
“We’re coming together quickly,” she added. “We’ve set things to work on each gamer and improved each game. The work ethic is there and what I’m most proud of. We haven’t gotten down or quit regardless of what happens we continue to work hard.”
