SOMERSET — The Corbin Lady Redhound soccer team ran into a very good Southwestern team on Monday, falling, 7-0.
The Lady Redhounds (0-2) never got anything going offensively and had trouble stopping the Lady Warriors from finding the back of the net.
“We struggled tonight,” Corbin coach Hannah Goins said. “We didn’t play as well as we have been. We got down, didn’t possess well, and struggled stepping to the ball.
“Southwestern is a good team, so we knew it’d be a challenging game,” she added. “It was a tough loss but we will learn from it and keep moving forward.”
