Middlesboro captured its second win in a row on Friday and even its record at 2-2 by rolling past Lynn Camp, 57-0.
The Yellow Jackets scored early, and often and led 36-0 with nine minutes remaining in the second quarter before cruising to 10th consecutive win over the Wildcats (1-3).
The last time Lynn Camp has defeated the Yellow Jackets was back on Aug. 27, 2005. Middlesboro leads the overall series since 1998, 15-1.
The Yellow Jackets led 7-0 with 9:46 remaining in the first quarter before adding three more touchdowns, and a safety to take a 29-0 lead into the second quarter.
Another touchdown increased Middlesboro’s lead to 36-0 at the 9:35 mark of the second quarter before a 38-yard touchdown run minutes later made the score, 43-0.
The Yellow Jackets added two more touchdowns in the second half and wrapped up their 57-point win.
Middlesboro will host Harlan Friday while Lynn Camp will hit the road and face-off against Jackson County.
