Redhounds shut out for second consecutive game

CORBIN — Roger Taylor’s Corbin Redhounds fell to 1-3 on Thursday after getting shut out for the second consecutive game, losing to Boyle County, 6-0.

Corbin has now been shut out two games in a row while being outscored, 10-0, during the process.

“Unfortunately, a completely incorrect red card in the first half ruined what could have been a good match,” Taylor said.

The Redhounds will attempt to get back on track Saturday at home against Perry Central before facing off against Whitley County in the Class 2A, Section 7 Tournament on Monday.

The Redhounds advanced in the tournament with an 8-0 win over Knox Central last week.
