Bell, Clay continue winning ways with wins on Friday

Bell County and Clay County continued their winning ways on Friday with the Tigers rolling past Pike Central, 47-0, while the Bobcats won, 40-30, over Lincoln County.

Clay County (3-1) has now won three games in a row since it’s season-opening loss to Knox Central. The Tigers have also scored at least 40 points in a row three consecutive games. They will be off this week before traveling to play Harlan County in a key district matchup on Sept. 23.

The Bobcats improved to 2-1 and will host Whitley County Friday on Log Mountain.
