Lady Redhounds place fourth in Class 2A Girls’ State Golf Tournament

OWENSBORO — Corbin girls’ golf coach Danielle Hardin was more than happy with the way her players performed in the Class 2A Girls’ State Golf Tournament.
The Lady Redhounds turned in a fourth place effort while finishing with a 293.
Makena Myatt led the way with an 84 while teammates Kalyn Watkins (95), Addison Bonham (106), Hannah Perry (108), and Mackenzie Hutton (108) followed.
I think we played really well,” Hardin said. “We were up against some really great teams, and we were able to improve on our score from last year.
“With the fast greens, we did struggle a bit with putting,” she added. “They were rolling quick and we haven’t really played a course this season that was similar. This is always one of our favorite tournaments to play in and I am glad my seniors got to experience it one last time.”
