It wasn’t the best week picking-wise for me. Hopefully things will get better in Week 4 action.
Right now, my record stands at 22-8 after posting a 7-4 mark last week.
My goal is to pick 80 percent of the games correct, but right now I’m not close, sitting at 73.3 percent.
Hopefully, I can get that number up this week.
Perry Central at Bell County
The Bobcats have been rolling since their opening season loss to North Laurel. I don’t see them having a problem with Commodores today.
Prediction – Bell County 34, Perry Central 13
Harlan at Leslie County
The Green Dragons are searching for win number one and it’s gonna be tough playing in enemy territory. The Eagles possess one of the best quarterbacks in the state in Landry Collett. Can Harlan contain him?
Prediction — Leslie County 42, Harlan 20
Knox Central at Scott, Tenn.
The Panthers picked up a huge win that the ole crystal ball didn’t get (a reader actually mention it in a Facebook post, so at least they’re interested in my picks! Ha!). But this time around, I’m thinking the crystal ball will be right on the money.
Prediction – Knox Central 32, Scott, Tenn. 13
Williamsburg at Waggener
This was supposed to be a home game for the Yellow Jackets but now they’ll be hitting the road against a Waggener team searching for win No. 1.
Prediction – Williamsburg 26, Waggener 7
Whitley County at Campbellsville
This should be the game of the week in the 13th Region. The Eagles are unbeaten, and Whitley County could be easily unbeaten as well.
It’s gonna be a tough one, though.
Prediction – Campbellsville 28, Whitley County 27
