SCOTT, TENN. — Knox Central captured its second win in a row, evening its record at 2-2 with a 24-6 win over Scott, Tenn.
The Panthers ran for more than 200 yards on the ground while recording four rushing touchdowns.
Brayden Sizemore’s four-yard score with 7:31 remaining in the first quarter gave his tee am an early 6-0 lead.
Scott, Tenn. tied the game at six apiece with 4:10 remaining in the first quarter thanks to a two-yard touchdown run.
The game remained tied until the Panthers’ Landen Daugherty scored on a six-yard touchdown run, giving his team a 12-6 lead with 4:50 remaining in the first half.
Luke Alveras’ seven-yard rushing score right before the half pushed Knox Central’s lead to 18-6.
Sizemore’s second rushing touchdown of the game, a one-yarder, increased the Panthers’ advantage to 24-6 with 9:54 remaining in regulation.
