WILLIAMSBURG — Williamsburg’s five-game win streak came to an end but not before putting up a fight against Tennessee’s Concord Christian.
The Lady Yellow Jackets (13-4) dropped a two-set match, losing, 25-18, and 25-12.
Dirk Berta’s squad will now shift their focus to this weekend’s All ‘A’ Classic Volleyball State Tournament.
“We played a good team out of Knoxville tonight,” Berta said. “Definitely the type of competition we will see this weekend at the All A State tournament.
“We will get back in the gym and look to improve some things before going out and playing,” he added. “We’re looking forward to the challenge as well as enjoying to time out at the state tournament. As always, Go Jackets.”
