CORBIN — A rainy day couldn’t keep Corbin from capturing a game-shortened 8-0 win against Barbourville on Monday.
Normally senior Parker Stacy is manning the goal, playing keeper for the Redhounds but during his team’s senior day, Stacy played the field and recorded a hat trick with his third goal ending the match at the 57 minute mark.
Senior John Ball also recorded a hat trick while JP Carmichael and Leo Moses each scored a goal apiece as Corbin improved to 5-9.
“We had a good team win while honoring our seniors tonight,” Corbin coach Roger Taylor said. “These two guys work so hard and are great examples for the rest of the team.
“The fact that both Parker Stacy and John Ball were able to get hat tricks was the icing on the cake,” he added. “A big thank you goes out to them for all their dedication and leadership this year.”
