WILLIAMSBURG — Williamsburg built a 2-0 lead over visiting Jackson County on Tuesday only to see the Lady Generals stun the Lady Yellow Jackets by winning the final three sets to secure the win.
Dirk Berta’s squad win the first set, 25-15, and the second set, 25-16, and looked to be in cruise control until Jackson County win the third set, 25-22.
That’s when momentum switched hands.
The Lady Generals won the fourth set, 27-25, before capturing the final set with a 15-12 victory.
The loss, Williamsburg’s fifth in a row, drops the Lady Yellow Jackets to 13-7 while Jackson County improves to 10-8.
