RICHMOND — Corbin and Richmond Model finished in a one-all tie after the game was called early due to darkness.
It looked as if the Lady Redhounds were going to run away with the win after Katie Morton scored thanks to an assist by Emely Colchado to give Corbin (4-8-1) an early lead.
The Lady Patriots fought back to tie the game at one-all before the game was called early.
“We scored early, but then we struggled to keep our momentum up,” Corbin coach Hannah Goins said. “We looked a little rough tonight. We seemed unfocused, didn’t play to our ability. We were able to string a few passes together and had some good chances, but never really seemed to get going.”
